One of the smallest villages in Vaucluse, Saint-Léger is set in the magnificent Toulourenc valley (Toulourenc means 'all
or nothing' in Provençal). Built on the southern slopes of the Bluye mountain, facing the 'Giant of Provence' –
the Mont Ventoux – it is chiefly composed of ancient stone farms and houses. Saint-Léger is a very popular
starting point for boar-hunting parties.
What to see, what to visit : the parochial church of Saint-Léger, the ancient priory, the
eighteenth-century chapel of Saint-Basile, built on the site of an ancient necropolis, the ancient stone bridge straddling
the Toulourenc.
Available activities : trout fishing, walks, mountain biking.
