Oraison

Located between the Lure mountain and the Valensole plateau in the Luberon Regional Natural Park. Village where relaxation reigns, you will appreciate its Mediterranean climate.

To see, to visit: parish church of Notre Dame du Thor (1662), Renaissance-style castle "Maison d'Oraison" (1720), 12th-century Saint-Pancrace chapel, Romanesque bridge over the Rancure (1698), seven-arched bridge over the Durance, inaugurated in the presence of Frédéric Mistral in 1888, ruins of the fortified castle on the Tholonet hill.
Recommended activities: hiking marked botanical trails, tennis, mountain biking, swimming, pedalos in the Buissonnades lakes, fishing: lakes and rivers. Paragliding free flight site, microlight platform and scale models, racetrack, cynodrome (horse races and greyhound races).
