Set at the confines of the Bouches du Rhône and the Vaucluse, Noves is an ideal base from where to explore the great many
tourist sites in the vicinity: Avignon is 10 minutes away, and the
Alpilles and the Luberon are also very
close. Saintes-Maries de la Mer and the
Camargue are 75 km away. In addition to its ideal setting,
Noves is a pleasant place to stay and it retains many remnants of its medieval heritage, such as the ramparts and gates, the belfry
above the Porte de l’Horloge, the church of Saint-Baudile... The castle esplanade offers beautiful views of the whole village.
During the warm months there are a number of traditional Provençal events organised in the village: abrivados, fête de
la Saint Eloi, competitions between manades…
