Le Barroux is a hilltop village dominated by its castle – a military fortress dating from the twelfth century, it was
transformed into a superb Renaissance residence in the sixteenth century. The village boasts superb views over the vast Comtat plain,
the Dentelles de Montmirail, Mont Ventoux and the
Vaucluse Mountains.
