| 7 km from Aiguines Altitude: 510 m Population: 191 Les Salles-sur-Verdon, originally an ancient small and peaceful village, was part-flooded when the Sainte-Croix electricity dam was built. The current village was rebuilt between 1972 and 1975 on the banks of the lake. What to see and visit: the stone fountain, wash houses and steeple, all salvaged from the original village. |
