Castellane

Castellane nestles at the foot of an impressive limestone cliff of 184 m high, and the site is renowned as one of Haute Provence's most impressive.

What to see, what to visit: the chapel of Notre-Dame du Roc (from its terrace you can admire the views of the ramparts, the bridge Napoléon and the gateway to the Gorges du Verdon, the church Saint-Victor, the ancient walls and the Tour Pentagonale.
