Famed for its vin de Muscat, Beaumes de Venise also produces a quality red Côtes du Rhône. A great many trails allow you to discover the village's history: its parochial church, the ruins of the feudal castle, the chapel of Notre Dame d’Aubune and its steeple, the charming narrow streets and refurbished façades. Going back much further in time, there are also the prehistoric caves of Rocalinaud and Ambrosi – these caves are also known as baumes from which the village derives its name.
