Buis-les-Baronnies is a trypically provencal village, with its charming little streets and periphery lined with plane trees.
Sunny hills reflect the silver leanes of the hundred year old olive groves, overhung by chalky rocks which, come evening, are adorned with a pink haze, all in the face of the imposing Mont Ventoux. The climate and easy way of life, make the Baronnies a favourite destination for successful holidays.
All outdoor sports can be practised all year round; climbing, hiking, riding, trail, mountain-biking, road-biking… all in an exceptional environment.
For more cultural visits, there are nearby festivals at Avignon, Carpentras, Vaison-la-Romaine and Orange. There are many tours: Route de l’Olivier (Olive Tree Way), Route de la Lavande (Lavender Route), … not forgetting, for the more idle, a game of bowls and siestas lulled by the chirping cicadas!
