You can visit the typical Provençal market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. It is renowned as a particularly colourful and offering a true taste of Provence. Evening markets are also
a regular feature.
A great many festivals and celebrations are organised, such as the Fête de la Renaissance, the wheat festival, the transhumance festival, the truffle festival etc.
Riez is a very bustling village throughout the whole year, particularly during July and August, when the restaurants terraces sprawl out onto the pedestrian streets.
