The village is only one km away, so you can do your food-shopping on foot and stroll through the narrow streets which give Cucuron its genuine Provençal character, or have a drink by the Etang ornamental pond.

The Luberon National Park offers ample opportunities for outings on foot or by other means. There is a variety of leisure, sporting and cultural activities, to make your stay a memorable one. These include: bathing in freshwater at the Etang de la Bonde (4 km) or at enclosed bathing spots at Cadenet or Peyrolles, or in the Mediterranean (creeks or "calanques" and the Côte Bleue resorts), climbing on the cliffs at Buoux. Directions: leave Cucuron on the road to Cabrière d'Aigues. After about on km, take the next track to the left after the one marked "Calvin-santonnier", and continue straight to the end.
