How to get there
By road: leave the A7 motorway at the “Avignon Sud” exit and follow signs for Apt. Take the exit for “Le Chène”, then turn left onto the D4 heading for Mur and Carpentras. Continue for 3.5 kms (ignoring the signs telling you to turn left for Roussillon); when you reach the “Coopérative de Roussillon”, take the road on the right heading for LES RIPERTS. Continue for another 300m before turning right, and you’re there!
By rail: 40kms from Avignon TGV station.
By air: 80 kms from Marseille airport; 35kms from Avignon airport.

From here you can explore the picturesque villages of the Luberon, such as Lioux with its huge cliff; the castle at Lacoste, where the famous Marquis de Sade once lived; or Gordes, itself containing the village of Bories with its dry stone houses. And not forgetting Roussillon, with its celebrated ochre pathways. And when the day’s visiting is over, you can take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.

Various exciting activities are available to you in this beautiful region: walking, mountain biking or, for the more courageous among you, climbing the famous Buoux cliffs. You can even take in a bird’s-eye view of the area from a hot-air ballon or a paraglider. And this is only a small sample of the activities available!
