Gîte 2 persons (sorry no children)
Gîte de charme located in the beautiful Côtes du Rhône area, just outside the typically Provençal medieval village of Mollans-sur-Ouvèze, at a 5 min walk for local shops (bakeries. small supermarket, bio, butcher), cafés, restaurants, tennis.
Buis-les-Baronnies at 9 km. Lovely Vaison-la-Romaine, just 12 km, has beautiful Roman remains, castle, excellent shopping and restaurants. Renowned towns of Avignon, Orange, Châteauneuf-du-Pape all within a 1 hour drive. Colourful typically provençal markets in all surrounding towns, including Mollans (during the summer months).
The Gorges de l’Ardèche within 1.5 hr drive. Riding, walking or even mountain climbing within 15 min drive on and around Mont Ventoux. Local vineyards for wine-tasting. Nîmes airport 125 km, or direct TGV service London-Avignon during summer months.
Many restaurants « pour tous les goûts » everywhere in the neighbourhood.
Marseille airport (low-cost terminal MP2) at 90 minutes, Avignon TGV station at 50 minutes.

The gite is located at ground-floor level of a Provençal villa, which is situated just above the village road and has lovely views to Mollans and its castle (5 minutes walk to village centre). The owners are there only once in a while and never when the gîte is let.
Set in terraced grounds with shrubs and trees, south-facing terrace with arbour and dining furniture and 2 easy chairs in front of the apartment (jeu de boules area). Fence to patio with BBQ and outdoor dining furniture, shaded by a pretty mulberry tree. Five steps lead up to the private pool, 10 x 4.5 x 1.1-2.0 m depth, surrounded by a sun terrace. Pool available from beginning of May to mid September.
The gîte is attractively decorated in provençal colours and with several paintings by a local artist. Sitting room with sofa and armchairs, TV (flatscreen, CD/DVD player), french window to terrace. |

Archway to dining room/fully-fitted kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, coffee maker. Hallway with separate WC with wash basin.
Bathroom with small bath, and shower, wash basin. The bedroom has a double bed 160x200 cm (can be made into 2 singles). Duvets and pillows included, as well as bed linen.
Walk-in dressing room. Laundry room with washing machine, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron. Fenced parking.
Bed linen is included. Towels can be hired on request.
Internet connection (wifi) available on request.
