12 km from Carpentras, 30 km from Avignon, Venasque is surrounded by numerous superb villages, each one offering something different and interesting: for example, there is Pernes les Fontaines and its 40 stone fountains, Fontaine de Vaucluse and its spring, L'Isle sur la Sorgue with its antique markets and 'brocante' (second hand) dealers.
