Location: nearby, you can see many romanesque little churches with stone roofs and "Le Prieuré de Ganagobie"; that priory is a jewel in Romanesque Art. Also enjoy visiting villages such as Lurs, Sisteron and its Citadel, the geological reservation in Digne and its great slab dotted with so many fossilized "amonites", Chateau-Arnoux gliding center and so many splendors in Jean Giono's Provence. How to get there: when you are in the village of Les Mées, follow the signs to Digne les Bains and take this road (CD n°4). As you are leaving the village, you will pass by the "Pénitents" (large rocks) , follow these rocks and at the end of the rocks, you arrive to the crossroads "La croix" and you take the left lane and continue on the flat road opposite for about another 800 metres until you reach the large pink house with blue shutters.
